Mentor: Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Thompson Child & Family Focus, located in the Charlotte/Matthews area, has multiple openings for a challenging position working with children ages 6-12 in a residential treatment program.  Experience in a group home or residential setting with children preferred.  These positions are responsible for providing direct care to the children in the residential treatment program by providing a safe therapeutic home setting in a positive consistent and structured environment.  This includes mental health support and documentation based on service goals and plans for each consumer. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. 2nd and/or 3rd shifts available. No phone calls please. Top.


Team Leader/Mentor: Saint Peter's Lane Campus

Mentors work with children ages 6-12 in a residential treatment program. Experience in a group home or residential setting with children preferred. This position is responsible for providing direct care for children in the residential treatment program by providing a safe therapeutic home setting in a positive consistent and structured environment. This includes mental health support and documentation based on service goals and plans for each consumer. Team Leaders work with the Program Supervisors, Mentors, and Floaters as a team to provide the best care possible for the children. Human Services Degree desired. SBIT Therapist (Cabarrus): 7th Street Campus

The School Based Intervention Therapy (SBIT) Therapist is a direct service provider responsible for the quality and ethical delivery of individual, group, and family outpatient services at designated school sites within Cabarrus County.  The SBIT Therapist is responsible for providing diagnosis, assessment, and treatment to children, and/or families where behavioral problems, emotional instability, neglect, physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse is evident.  A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field and full licensure as an independent Practitioner is required.  One year post graduate experience in a clinical setting with child/adolescent population preferred.  Must have a valid NC Driver’s License with clean driving record, and meet credentialing and privileging standards.  The major share of time for this position is at the school site, but also includes home visits.  Experience working in the Cabarrus County school district is a plus. The SBIT Therapist is responsible for providing diagnosis, assessment, and treatment to children, and/or families where behavioral problems, emotional instability, neglect, physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse is evident.  Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field and full licensure as an Independent Practitioner is required.  Applicants with provisional licensure will not be considered. One year post graduate experience in a clinical setting with child/adolescent population preferred.  Must have a valid NC Driver’s License with clean driving record, and meet credentialing and privileging standards.  The major share of time for this position is at the school site, but also includes home visits. Teaching Assistant: Clanton Road Campus

State of the Art Nationally Accredited Child Development Center is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a wonderful teaching experience involving all levels of child development.  Must have the ability to work with total staff to promote the physical, social, cognitive, spiritual, and emotional well-being of the children we serve through holistic daily programs designed to enhance healthy age-appropriate development.  Must have knowledge of regulations governed by NC Division of Child Development, Mecklenburg County Health Department and NAEYC standards.  Required education and skills:  Course work in Early Childhood Education and 2 years of experience in Early Childhood setting.  AA in Early Childhood Education preferred. Registered Nurse - Part-time: Saint Peter's Lane Campus

Part-time RN needed for nursing services at psychiatric residential treatment facility. Pediatric and/or Mental health experience preferred. Duties will include medication administration, record keeping, responding to client medical needs. The RN is responsible for working directly with the physician, psychiatrist, and nurse practitioner to provide professional nursing care. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Facility/Maintenance Worker: Saint Peter's Lane Campus

Maintenance Worker needed to work 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday 5 pm – 12 am. Duties include, but not limited to:  building and grounds maintenance, delivering supplies, completing general maintenance requests, performing daily repairs to buildings and grounds, cleaning, etc.  Position requires a background in maintenance, grounds keeping, landscaping, light carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc. Candidate must be able to work independently; push, pull, bend and stoop daily; as well as lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Valid NC driver’s license and clean driving history required. Top.
