STAFF ACCOUNTANT – Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Immediate need for a Staff Accountant to perform accounting functions accurately to document, process, and verify financial data posted to the general ledger.  Must be able to manage accounting workload in order to meet all accounting and state mandated filing deadlines.  Position requires a four year accounting degree, knowledge of reconciliation of general ledger accounts, excellent computer skills with working knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Excel.  Must be detailed oriented and able to work independently.  Salary requirement must be submitted with resume and cover letter to be considered.

 

IT SUPPORT ANALYST – Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Entry level IT position.  Requires PC and IT skills including various operating systems, MS Office, Abra, Blackbaud products, and MSHealth, problem solving, and creative thinking.  Must understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, and basic networking.  Position requires Associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school in computer science or two-five years of professional IT hands on experience.  This position will report to the Director of IT.  Please list salary requirements when submitting a resume.

 

RESIDENTIAL FLOATER – Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Thompson Child & Family Focus, located in the Charlotte/Matthews area, has an opening for a challenging position working with children ages 6-12 in a residential treatment program.  Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field.  Experience in a group home or residential setting with children preferred. This position must be flexible to work all shifts when needed.  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

 

COMMUNITY SUPPORT SPECIALIST (AP) – 7th Street Campus

This position provides service to assist individuals in gaining access to needed mental health, social, educational, and other services in the community.  Facilitates the service delivery process, beginning with intake and initial assessment and includes the identification and procurement of services, along with on-going monitoring of care and services, and the annual re-evaluation of the individual's needs and services.  Knowledge of NC Mental Health required, Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field with mental health experience preferred.  Applicant must have a flexible schedule and be able to provide crisis support and be available during non-traditional hours.  Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

PART TIME MAINTENANCE WORKER - Saint Peter's Lane Campus

Seeking a Part Time Maintenance Worker (20 hours per week).  Duties include, but are not limited to:  deliveries, cleaning, weed eating, grass mowing, minor repairs, event setup, moving furniture, etc.  Position requires a background in maintenance, grounds keeping, landscape, etc.

 

OUTPATIENT THERAPIST – 7th Street Campus

Licensed Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy in outpatient setting specializing in the treatment of children challenged by complex, developmental trauma.  Some evening hours required and flexibility is needed.  Position requires a Master’s level clinician licensed for independent clinical practice.  Three years of post-master’s child and family experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with System of Care principles is a plus.

 

MENTOR – Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Thompson Child & Family Focus, located in the Charlotte/Matthews area, has an opening for a challenging position working with children ages 6-12 in a residential treatment program.  Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred.  Experience in a group home or residential setting with children preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.  Current shifts available:  2nd (afternoons) and Overnight

 

REGISTERED NURSES – Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Several Registered Nurses are needed to provide 24 hour services to children in a psychiatric residential treatment facility. Duties will include medication administration, record keeping, responding to client medical emergencies, and facilitating communication between psychiatrist/nurse practitioner and direct care staff.  Hiring several positions to cover 3rd shift M-F and 12 hour nights on weekends.  Hours and schedules are flexible. Must be a registered nurse licensed in NC and in good standing with appropriate certification. Experience in a pediatric setting preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

 

ON-CALL NURSE PRACTITIONER - Saint Peter's Lane Campus

Nurse practitioner needed for evening and weekend call for PRTF providing services to children 6-12.  Psychiatric or pediatric background helpful.  Must have a valid NC driver's license. 

 

TEACHER – Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Thompson Child & Family Focus, located in the Charlotte/Matthews area, has an opening for a challenging Teacher position working with children ages 6-12 in our Day Treatment Program.  Applicant must be familiar with the NC Standard Course of Study Curriculum.  This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Masters Degree in Special Education preferred.  Teachers must possess, or be actively working toward certification from the NC Department of Public Instruction.  Non-certified staff and/or those without a Masters Degree must matriculate a minimum of 6 credit hours per calendar year toward these goals.  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. 

 

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM QUALITY SPECIALIST – Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Seeking professional individual who will work with 4 and 5 star child care centers in Mecklenburg County to guide their efforts in maintaining high quality child care for children 0-5 years, including provide in-service trainings to child care teachers/directors.  Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or related field, strong knowledge of Environment Rating Scales and NC Child Care Licensing Regulations.  3-5 years of experience in administrative/leadership role required; coaching and consulting experience preferred.  Individual must work well with others, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines accordingly.

 

INCLUSION SPECIALIST – Saint Peter’s Lane Campus

Seeking professional individual who will provide technical assistance to teachers in Mecklenburg County child care programs.  Technical assistance focuses on children 0-5 with challenging behaviors to support their success in the classroom setting.  Must be willing to provide in-service trainings to child care teachers/directors.  Bachelor’s degree in early childhood/special education or related field, strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and addressing challenging behaviors.  3-5 years of experience working with young children with special needs / challenging behaviors required; coaching and consulting experience preferred.  Individual must work well with others, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines accordingly.
