Inclusion Specialist - Early Childhood Outreach - Union County, NC

Thompson is seeking a professional individual who will provide technical assistance to teachers and directors in Union County child care programs.  Technical assistance focuses on children ages 0-5 with challenging behaviors to support their success in the classroom setting.  The incumbent will develop individualized goals to promote appropriate social, emotional behaviors and must be willing to provide in-service trainings to child care teachers/directors and home visits with families.  Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Special Education or related field; strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices; and experience in addressing challenging behaviors required. Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience working with children with special needs/challenging behaviors; coaching and consulting experience preferred. Thompson is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for our psychiatric residential treatment facility. Two positions available: part-time and full-time. RN with pediatric or mental health experience preferred. Duties will include medication administration, record keeping, and responding to client medical needs. The RN is responsible for working directly with the physician, psychiatrist, and nurse practitioner to provide professional nursing care. Clinical Manager: Saint Peter's Lane Campus, Matthews, NC

The Clinical Manager, as part of our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) lower campus Treatment Services program, ensures the program philosophy is carried out in the daily operations of the residential trauma and attachment program. Responsibilities include development and provision of staff training; development; programming; environments and vision for the attachment program. Thompson is seeking a teacher to create an effective, stimulating learning environment, encouraging each consumer to recognize his/her unique abilities and to develop a positive relationship with learning. The teacher will team with the Educational Support Specialist to promote self-esteem, provide mental health interventions and crisis prevention and intervention, based on Thompson’s relationship-based philosophy of care. The behavioral health technician will provide therapeutic services to clients on a part time basis, by assisting clients in the restoration or strengthening of skills needed to promote and sustain independence and stability in their living, learning, social and working environments. Thompson is seeking a clinical supervisor to perform clinical oversight of other therapists as well as carry a limited outpatient caseload in the York, SC area. Clinical supervisor provides diagnostic assessments, case management, and individual, family and group therapy utilizing evidence-based theories. Clinical supervisor also provides clinical and administrative oversight to other therapists as well. SBIT Therapist (Cabarrus): Family Services Center - Wendover Road, Charlotte, NC

The School-Based Intervention Therapy (SBIT) Therapist is a direct service provider responsible for the quality and ethical delivery of individual, group, and family outpatient services at designated school sites within Cabarrus County.
