Plates on the Pitch
For 140 years, Thompson has believed in one simple truth:
Every foster child deserves a home.
140 years in, the work isn’t done. Plates on the Pitch is an evening that brings that belief to life — where food, culture, and community come together on the field in support of a Home for Every Foster Child.
As you experience dishes inspired by the home nations of Charlotte FC’s players, you’re also helping create stability, care, and possibility for children and families across the Carolinas — because 140 years = 140 reasons to believe that changing lives changes everything.
For those who wish to deepen their impact, add the Oaklore Angel Barrel for $200 — a limited-quantity, special-release Oaklore bourbon bottle you’ll take home from the event. It’s a meaningful way to bring the night with you, and every bottle purchased helps meet the growing need in foster care by funding another bed for an adolescent foster child in need.
A powerful night. A lasting impact.
