Chief Information Officer Cody Thomas joined Thompson in June 2014 and currently leads the Information Technology and Data Teams. As a trusted technology advisor and forward thinker, Cody is responsible for ensuring Thompson is prepared for growth, developing talent, mitigating risk, investing in modern infrastructure, and delivering top-tier customer service to staff and families alike.
Originally from northern Ohio, Cody completed his education at the University of Toledo College of Medicine before transitioning into the technology field. He moved to Charlotte, where he briefly worked as a teacher and technology analyst for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Since then, Cody has dedicated more than a decade of his career to the well-being of children and families at Thompson.
Cody’s “why” stems from his lived experiences, his love of technology, and his desire to see himself and others grow and flourish. He is continually humbled by working alongside other passionate individuals who share a vision and dedication to the mission.
