Stephen serves as Chief Leadership Officer at Thompson, bringing a career dedicated to leadership development, organizational growth, and creating cultures where people thrive.
A North Carolina native, Stephen began his career in education and coaching before founding and scaling an afterschool youth development organization that expanded across eight states and impacted nearly 10,000 young people. Following that work, he helped lead collegiate expansion efforts for Dream On 3, growing programming to more than 20 universities and creating life-changing experiences for individuals living with life-altering conditions.
Most recently, Stephen served as a senior consultant with Always About People, LLC, coaching executives and partnering with organizations to strengthen leadership, culture, and team alignment.
At Thompson, Stephen is focused on developing leaders, strengthening culture, and helping advance the organization’s mission of transforming lives across the communities it serves.
