The Importance of Support as part of Mental Health Services for Youth – An interview with Sarah Barnes

An Interview with NC High Fidelity Wraparound Family Support Partner Sarah Barnes

As Thompson recognizes National Mental Health Awareness Month, we highlight the importance of support throughout therapy services, from our family partners who help establish a sense of safety, and help identify, and establish long-term natural supports.

In this interview, we sit with NC High Fidelity Wraparound Family Support Partner Sarah Barnes to learn more about Thompson’s approach to mental health services, use of support partners with ‘lived experience’ to help ensure longevity of outcomes.

The Wrap program supports youth ages 3-21 as they transition back into the community from inpatient facilities or a therapeutic foster home and integrates a wide range of individuals to fully support the youth. Wraparound’s care coordination services have a track record of positive outcomes with local NC youth.

NC High Fidelity Wraparound Program Family Support Partner Sarah Barnes discusses the importance of Mental Health in this interview with Thompson Communications Specialist Robert Burns.
