Mr. Watson was a self-proclaimed “old-school” parent, having raised his boys sternly with more of a dictatorship style. Realizing they needed help, they reached out to our Family Education team and were enrolled in an Incredible Years® class. At the beginning of the program, Mr. Watson was stuck in his ways, and it was doubtful if anything would change him. However, after learning and practicing the tools discussed in class, he “softened up just a little” as his wife described it. He is now showing more patience, and is more open to other methods outside of harsh discipline.
